Course Structure
- This 12-week bootcamp will cover the basics of Android development, from initial concepts to publishing and launching your own Android mobile application on the Google Play Store.
- The training will focus on developing a modern mobile application with user authentication capabilities, using dynamic data from Firebase. You will create a modern app and later publish it to the Google Play Store, learning how to version your app for updates. Below is a highlight of the content that will be covered:
- 1. Learn programming concepts with OOP (Object-Oriented Programming).
- 2. Learn Android development with Kotlin.
- 3. Learn how to build Android frontend views using Compose.
- 4. Learn how to work with Google APIs, e.g., Google Maps, embedding YouTube videos, SQLite, Bluetooth, and RecyclerView.
- 5. Learn about Firebase user authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and Firebase Firestore.
- 6. Launch and publish your first mobile application to the Google Play Store.
- Note: Every trainee will get to launch their own app on the Google Play Store by the end of the bootcamp training.
- Basically, you will acquire the practical skills required to kick-start a mobile development career.
